Cooper Jensen is a big-time talent from Glacier Peak high school in Shohomish, Washington. The 6-foot-5, 210-pound tight end is the Beavers first verbal commit in the 2023 recruiting class.

According to 247 sports is ranked as the 24th-best tight end in the country for the 2023 class. Early in his recruitment he already had scholarship offers from Tennessee and Arizona
Brian Wozniak deserves a ton of credit for connecting with Cooper. Oregon State has found some very good tight ends in recent years (Luke Musgrave, Jake Overman), but Cooper Jensen has the potential to be the next great Oregon State pass-catcher. His athleticism and ideal tight end body type will make him a go-to-target for whoever is throwing him passes.
While Cooper Jensen is the Beavers first commit for 2023, the team continues to put together a nice recruiting class in 2022. They currently have 12 verbal commits for 2022 and also landed a star pass-rusher who transferred from Florida. With Oregon State currently standing alone in 1st place in the Pac-12 North, the coaching staff will try and utilize that momentum on the recruiting trail. After this weekend’s game versus Washington State the Beavers will get a week off and that means doubling-down on recruiting for the coaching staff.
