The Beavers secondary picked up another new member today, with 3 Star recruit Arnez Madison committing to Oregon State. Madison currently attends Manual Arts Senior High School in Los Angeles.

Madison, 6-2 and 170 lbs, plays Wide Receiver and Cornerback. He was recruited by Beavers’ Defensive Backs Blue Adams to play for that unit. He is rated 3 stars by the 247 composite, and the 146th best Cornerback in the country. He was also offered by Boise State, Central Michigan, Fresno State and Kansas.
Madison will come into a secondary that is getting a lot of youth. In addition to Trey Lowe, the 4 star Washington transfer who is expected to play in 2021’s spring season, the Beavers have 5 Freshman corners who will be on the roster whenever play resumes. Arnez clearly has some skills, as seen above, but its going to be a position with a ton of competition going forward.
