Oregon State landed a big commitment for the women’s basketball team today, with Class of ‘22 shooting guard Adlee Blacklock announcing her commitment to attend Oregon State. Blacklock currently attends Trinity Christian High School in Lubbock, Texas. She has reportedly also been offered by Baylor, Kansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech. HubCity Preps has an excellent write up of the kind of player the Beavers are getting.

Blacklock is just one of an amazing group of guards that will be coming to Oregon State over the next couple years. 2020-21 will bring Sasha Goforth and Savannah Samuel, rated as the #6 and #29 guard prospects in the country by ESPN. For 2021-22, Greta Kampshroeder, ESPN’s #4 rated guard, will join the program. The Beavers have lost a lot of guards this offseason with the graduation of Mikayla Pivec and Kat Tudor, and the transfer of Destiny Slocum, but there’s a ton of talent waiting in the wings.
