A day after Oregon State added a non-conference, neutral site game in South Dakota against the Iowa Hawkeyes to their 2020-2021 schedule, CBS Sports Jon Rothstein announced that the Beavers will also square off with the UT-San Antonio Roadrunners this upcoming season as well. The game is set for December 16th in Corvallis, with a tip-off time to be determined.

Oregon State and UT-San Antonio last met in December of the 2019-2020 season during the Battleground 2K19 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The Beavers edged the Roadrunners 88-78 in that game, helped by Ethan Thompson and Kylor Kelley both pitching in 23 point efforts.
UT-San Antonio is coming off a 13-19 campaign, where they posted a 7-11 mark in Conference USA play and dropped five of their last six games to end the season. However, soon to be fifth-year head coach Steve Henson should return his top six scorers from that roster, including the second-leading scorer in the country last season in Jhivvan Jackson (26.8 PPG) and Keaton Wallace (18.8 PPG), who finished 55th nationally in points per game.
