With the 24th pick in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft (#203 overall), the Minnesota Vikings selected Left Tackle Blake Brandel out of Oregon State. Brandel is the second player from Oregon State to be selected in the 2020 NFL Draft (Jake Luton to Jacksonville).

Blake Brandel was a mainstay with the Beavers, starting 48 consecutive games over the course of his career. The Vikings needed depth on the offensive line and he should have an opportunity to compete for a spot as the swing tackle on the roster. Big congratulations to Blake Brandel!
