Oregon State basketball has added a key piece to their roster, with the addition of Nicholls State transfer Warith Alatishe. The 6-foot-7 athlete will likely have to sit out one year, but will try to receive an eligibility waiver to become immediately eligible.

Warith Alatishe played two seasons for Nicholls State of the Southland conference. He average 10.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and was active on the floor recording 1.7 steals/1.3 blocks per game.
“He is an explosive athlete and plays with energy and tenacity, truly an impressive rebounder for his position and an incredible finisher in the paint..” - Coach Wayne Tinkle (Twitter.com)
The last minute addition brings Oregon State basketball to 14 total scholarship players (one over the scholarship limit). Meaning the coaching staff is probably expecting to lose another scholarship player before the season starts.
Next years team will look completely revamped with the additions of transfers: Tariq Silver, Rodrigue Andela, Warith Alatishe and incoming recruit Isaiah Johnson.
