Gamethread: Oregon State Baseball vs Mississippi State, Game 2

The Beavs try to bounce back after a tough loss in Game One against the Bulldogs...

COLLEGE BASEBALL: MAR 31 Mississippi State at LSU

Saturday, February 22

The Beavs dropped a brutal game one to open the series against Mississippi State. Christian Chamberlain delivered a fantastic game to give the Beavs a boost that Oregon State carried into the eighth on the back of a 2-0 lead. Mississippi State proceeded to promptly erase that lead with a five-run eighth inning before ultimately cruising to a 6-2 victory.

It was a tough loss, but Oregon State won’t have any time to catch their breath as game two against the Bulldogs quickly approaches. Jake Pfennigs will take the bump to try and help the Beavs notch a victory in today’s contest.
