Tres Tinkle wasn’t picked in this week’s NBA Draft, but it was expected that some team in the league would give him a shot. Today, we’ve finally got our answer, as Tinkle has reached an agreement with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Tinkle has signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Lakers. An Exhibit 10 contract is a one year, league minimum salary contract, with a bonus if the player ends up playing for the team’s G-League affiliate. For Tinkle, this could mean up to a $50,000 bonus if he ends up spending time with the South Bay Lakers.
Tinkle, of course, needs no introduction for Beavers fans, but if you’re new here, he’s the programs all time leading scorer. He finished his Oregon State career with 2233 points, 882 rebounds and 374 assists. That’s a 17.7 points per game average. Probably good enough to drag Lebron James to another championship if he needs the help.
