BTD’s Top 25 College Football Staff Picks: Week 9

A tight race atop the American Conference will begin to unwind in Week 9.

Week 8 Recap: The return of the Big Ten lived up the billing, with Indiana-Penn State alone coming down to maybe the closest call we’ll see in college football this season. But in the world of staff picks, that’s only one game. We lost more sleep over Wake Forest’s upset of Virginia Tech than a 50-50 call to decide a league opener. Ole Miss may have a legitimate gripe in their defeat at the “hands” of Auburn, as it sure did look like the Tigers touched a kick-off that the Rebels recovered in the endzone, yet that’s water under the bridge now. As for us, John and Ross tied with less than impressive six-loss weeks and The_Coach must be stealing signs or something to have another strong showing, this time tallying up fifteen correct choices in the process.
