Sunday Poll: Would You Root For Another Pac-12 Team In The Playoff?

How much does the success of the conference mean to you?

The Oregon State Beavers have yet to make the College Football Playoff (I didn’t need to remind everybody, did I?). The Pac-12 has been represented twice though. The Oregon Ducks reached the national championship game in the Playoff’s first year in 2014/15 and the Washington Huskies made the semifinals in 2016/17. So here’s my basic question: how does that make you feel?

On the one hand, teams from this conference succeeding helps with the national perception of Pac-12 football and could lead to better television deals down the road. It also opens the door for the rest of the conference to possibly get looks from the playoff and bowl committees in the future. There’s a reason #BackThePac is a thing.

On the other hand, these are the Beavs’ rivals we’re talking about. If they’re in the playoff, that means OSU is not. Is there some sort of good feeling to be had by wishing ill on our fellow west coast competitors?...especially the school in Eugene? You tell me.
