Oregon State Recruiting Recap 3/21: Recent Offers on the Recruiting Trail for Beaver Football

Taking a look at the 2019, 2020, & 2021 prospects that were offered by Jonathan Smith and the Oregon State coaching staff the past two weeks.

Cole Elsasser-USA TODAY Sports

The new Oregon State coaching staff wrapped up an underrated, but an impressive recovery to their 2018 class by the time National Signing Day arrived on February 7th considering the short amount of time the Jonathan Smith lead coaching staff had to find the guys they wanted.

Since then, the Beaver staff has made a very good impression on fans by keeping true to their word and prioritizing their recruiting focus on the West coast along with the rest of the PAC-12 footprint. They have started to become more active on the recruiting trail sending out offers to the players that head coach Jonathan Smith and the rest of his staff think that will help want to build a better and brighter future for Beaver football.

The past two weeks, the Oregon State football program has offered twenty-five prospects in both the 2019, 2020, and 2021 classes with seventeen of those recruits coming from the state of California. The number of prospects being offered should only continue to increase as we approach the spring game on April 28th, a possible junior day that could also be in the works, and summer camps on campus in Corvallis.

I want to make sure that I give full credit to 247Sports for having all of these rankings and information available, their staff does an incredible job at what they do, but we are going to look where Oregon State stands as of March 21th, 2018 when it comes to Beaver football recruiting.
