Oregon State ended the weekend on a high note, landing dynamic 3-Star wide receiver I’Shawn Stewart on Saturday

Stewart was listed to be recruited by Defensive Coordinator Tim Tibesar (247 Sports) and is currently listed to play WR, but being recruited as an athlete opens up possibilities on the defense as well. He stands at 5-11 and adds quick speed to the roster, as well as impressive athletic ability. With Mike Riley returning to OSU as the assistant head coach, expect Stewart to make an impact early in the slot, and on fly sweep plays.
“(OSU’s) been the dream school I’ve wanted by getting on the west coast to play ball. Being from the midwest, we aren’t really known for passing the ball.” Said Stewart
This is another great addition to the offense that Offensive Coordinator Brian Lindgren described as a “Modern, Fast, Pro-Style Offense”
“I’m looking forward to playing with the guys and getting established with everyone else, learning the offense, and getting used to the college life” added Stewart
Stewart will arrive on campus before spring practice to make an impact immediately. Oregon State will kick off spring practice April 4th and hopes to start 2018 with energy and optimism
