The Long Beach Poly corner back committed to Oregon State over offers from Colorado State, Hawaii, Montana State, New Mexico and others. He is rated the nation’s No. 173 corner back by 247Sports composite rankings.
He committed back in July and has an opportunity to immediately compete in the secondary. Austin has a little more size than Jojo Forest and Wynston Russell, but it will be fun to see those three compete for Oregon State in the years to come.
