The 3-Star recruit from Clackamas High School and longtime Beaver commit, Kelsen Hennessy, has signed his national letter of intent. Hennessy is a 6-5, 250-pound Defensive Tackle and will look to make an immediate impact for the Beavers.
.@KHenn023 is coming from Clackamas to be a part of #BeaverNation. He led Clackamas to a 2017 state title and an undefeated season and he said “it has always been a dream of mine to play football and get my degree from OSU.” Welcome to #BeaverNation! #BTD19 #GoBeavs pic.twitter.com/FPM2DnOjs1

Hennessy was also offered by California, but locked up his recruitment early when he committed to the Beavers in November of 2017.
Kelsen Hennessy has the frame and athleticism to contribute immediately. Similarly to Cory Stover, it might be best if Kelsen spends his first season playing in a couple of games but retaining his redshirt year as he acclimates to the college game. The Beavers might need him to play in more than 4 games though as they look for immediate help on the defensive line. Either way look for Kelsen Hennessy to have a stellar career for OSU.
