Luke Musgrave, a 6-6, 234-pound Tight End, has officially signed with Oregon State. Musgrave played both Tight End and Defensive End for Bend Senior in Bend Oregon. He earned 6A All-Conference Honors for both positions.
.@Luke_Musgrave19 is staying in state. The Bend native is an all-league selection at tight end and is a three sport star at Bend Senior High – in addition to football, he’s seen success in lacrosse and ski racing. Welcome to #BeaverNation! #BTD19 #GoBeavs pic.twitter.com/PYuj4qLuJ5

He’s expected to play Tight End for Oregon State, and could eventually emerge as a successor to Noah Togiai, who will be entering his senior season. Oregon State has a few other young Tight Ends who are going to start seeing the field soon, particularly Isaiah Smalls, but Musgrave appears to have the talent to make an impact.
247Sports had Musgrave rated as the fifth best recruit in the state. Oregon made a strong play for Musgrave, but the Beavers beat out the Ducks in the recruiting battle. Also making offers to Musgrave were California, UC Davis, and Utah State. Luke Musgrave has a good chance at being a very very good tight end for the Beavers.
