The 6-foot-1, 215-pound linebacker from Chaminade High School in California has officially signed with the Beavers.
An All-League selection and two-year starter at Chaminade, @Michaelerhart22 has been described as a player “with a rare combination of size, speed, athleticism, intelligence, toughness and character.” Welcome to #BeaverNation! #BTD19 #GoBeavs pic.twitter.com/J55XOimwVH

Defensive Coordinator Tim Tibesar and linebacker coach Trent Bray recruited Erhart to Oregon State. His visit to Corvallis really sealed the deal on his commitment to OSU. Timmy Hernandez hosted Erhart on his official visit and he got to spend quality time with current players, the coaching staff and even met with OSU’s academic advisors.
Erhart is a tough linebacker and could become a tackling machine for the Beavers. He held offers from Brown, Columbia, Army and Air Force and is planning to major in Business Administration.
