The Oregon State Beavers have officially signed Jordan Whittley out of Laney College in California. The 6-foot-2, 320-pound defensive tackle will look to contribute immediately on the defensive line.
Jordan Whittley, @ThatJacka, led Laney College to its first CCAA Championship in 2018, racking up 35 tackles, including 14.5 for loss. A 6-2 Nose Guard, he was named all-conference. Welcome to #BeaverNation! #BTD19 #GoBeavs pic.twitter.com/Ob34eKyHX8

Whittley also held offers from a number of other FBS schools, but Oregon State gives him the opportunity to step into immediate playing time. Jordan Whittley headlines a number of newcomers on the defensive line including: Addison Gumbs, Evan Bennett, Omar Speights, Kelsen Hennessy, Cory Stover and Simon Sandberg.
Look for Jordan Whittley to immediately fill the void left by graduated senior Kalani Vakameilalo. Elu Aydon and Jordan Whittley will have the responsibility to clogging up running games and freeing up the Oregon State linebackers to make plays. Beaver nation give Jordan Whittley a warm welcome as he makes his signing official!
