The Oregon State Beavers beat the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday after overcoming a 31-3 deficit in the second half. Beavs Twitter came alive before, during, and after the historic game with jokes, stats, and messages of celebration. It’s been a fun day or so to be a Beaver.
Here are a few of our favorite Tweets from Saturday:
First ever away OSU football game! Let’s goooo BEAVS!— Jack Anderson (@J_Anderson11) October 27, 2018
@J_Anderson11 (former OSU baseball player) came down to the sideline and motivated the team and gave them good luck corn dogs, while being down 31-3. Jackie yelled “If I can win a f*cking championship, you can win a f*cking road game!” The players head nodded in unison— Oregon State Is Love (@RichRodDoesPCP) October 28, 2018
^Not sure if that actually happened, but I really hope that it did.

Have to appreciate an injured Jake Luton out there giving it his all even while battling the high ankle injury. Trying to spark this #GoBeavs offense.— Amy Schwartz (@TheAmySchwartz) October 27, 2018

Jermar Jefferson - first Oregon State running back to rush for a 1,000 yards in a season since Jacquizz Rodgers in 2010. LONG TIME for the Beavs. Jefferson has been really special this year. #GoBeavs— Brandon Sprague (@BrandonSprague) October 27, 2018
Note: this next one was in response to a tweet saying they hoped Choukair would be left in Boulder, which has since been deleted.
Actually I’m on my way back to Corvallis with the rest of the team! I hope my 9 points helped the team get this win! Great team win! Go Beavs!— Jordan Choukair (@Jordan_Choukair) October 28, 2018
Oregon State erased a 28-point deficit against Colorado, the 3rd-largest comeback in Pac-12 history. The win snapped the Beavers’ 22-game road losing streak and 13-game conference losing streak, both of which were the longest streaks in the nation. pic.twitter.com/57cN02Ofr3— ESPN Stats & Info (@ESPNStatsInfo) October 27, 2018
