JUCO DT Jeromy Reichner from Los Angeles Valley College commits to Oregon State Beavers

Oregon State gains much needed depth on the DL in JUCO DT Jeromy Reichner from Los Angeles Valley College as Jonathan Smith and the rest of this Beavers staff look to finish strong before NSD.

Jonathan Smith and the rest of the Oregon State staff have been hot on the recruiting trail offering prospects, making in home visits with key targets, and hosting official visitors before the Februray 7th, National Signing Day.

On Saturday afternoon, Jeromy Reichner, a Junior College defensive tackle originally from Philadelphia and former Temple football player who also spent last season at Los Angeles Valley College, made his verbal commitment official via his Twitter account:

The 6-foot-2, 285-pound fierce defensive tackle truly enjoyed his official visit citing the family feeling being around the new coaches and current players while also recognizing the immediate need for the Beavers on the defensive line.

Coming from Los Angeles Valley College, Reichner will have two year of eligibility remaining to play two years and he hopes to quickly develop into a vitale piece on the defensive line for Oregon State under new defensive line coach Legi Suiaunoa.

Reichner is the third defensive lineman to commit to the Beavers in the 2018 class alongside Southridge (OR) defensive end Bradley Bickler and Berean Christian (CA) defensive tackle Issac Hodgins.
