As many of you know, news broke this morning that Oregon State pitcher, Luke Heimlich, pleaded guilty to a sex crime as a teenager. Heimlich, who was 15 at the time, sexually molested a 6 year old family member. Following his guilty plea Heimlich entered a diversion program and was ordered to attend sex offender treatment for two years. The story came to light when Heimlich’s sexual offender registration lapsed in April.

Ultimately, Oregon State will still match-up with Vanderbilt tomorrow evening in the Super Regionals. Kerry Eggers reported, via Twitter, that despite the reports Luke Heimlich will still pitch Friday night.
