Beavers blank Eagles behind Kat Tudor’s career day

The Oregon State Women’s Basketball team once again flirted with the 100 point barrier to win their first road game of the year. Four Beavers scored in double figures while the team shot 60.3% from the floor, including 50% from downtown. Kat Tudor led the team with a career day, notching her first double-double with a career high 23 points and 11 rebounds in just 25 minutes of work. Not much was needed from OSU’s season leading scorers Marie Gulich (15 points) and Mikayla Pivec (seven points) as this game was out of hand at halftime, 51-17.

Oregon State never trailed in the game and went on a 23-0 run that stretched over eight and a half minutes between the second and third quarters. Other notable Beaver contributors were Joanna Grymek with 16 points, and Taylor Kalmer with 12 points. Kalmer has now scored double digits in three out of four games so far this season.

North Carolina Central was led by Rodneysha Martin with 15 points and Kieche White with 11 points. They drop to 1-2 on the season.

The Beavers will stay in North Carolina to play Duke on Saturday, November 26th, at 12 PM PST.
