Last season, Oregon State finished tied for sixth in the Pac-12 with Washington and USC, who all went 9-9 in conference play. The Beavers finished the season with a record of 19-13 after losing to VCU in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
The Beavers NCAA tournament appearance was their first trip to the tournament since 1990, ending a 26 year drought. The Beavers will have to find a way to replace Gary Payton II, who is playing for the Houston Rockets, in the NBA. Gary Payton II lead Oregon State in points, rebounds, and assists last season.
The Beavers welcome back stud sophomores Tres Tinkle, Stephen Thompson Jr. and Drew Eubanks. They also bring in four-star point guard, JaQuori McLaughlin, three-star center, Ben Kone', and a pair of talented junior college players in Keondre Dew and Ronnie Stacy.
