Oregon St. (16-5, 2-2) and Washington St. (12-9, 1-3) continue their Pac-12 series this afternoon at 1:35 PM PDT, and the Beavers will be looking to claim the series. It would be their 5th season series over the Cougars in a row if they can get a win today or tomorrow.

Last night, Andrew Moore led the way for Oregon St. in a 5-2 win, in a game played in hideous conditions of game long drenching rain. Undaunted, Moore went 122 pitches and 10 strikeouts deep into the 9th inning, getting help for only the last Cougar batter from Luke Heimlich. That saved the entire Beaver bullpen, Heimlich included, for the rest of the weekend.

The game was on the Pac-12 Oregon and Washington channels, as will tomorrow's final game in the series, but today's game is only visible on an internet stream.

OSU WSU Lineup Game 2

Oregon St. will open with freshman RHP Drew Rasmussen (2-0, 1.76), the Beavers' usual Saturday starter.

Washington St. will counter with senior LHP Joe Pistorese (3-1, 3.08 ERA).

The Beavers sit 1 game behind Arizona St., UCLA, and California, all of whom also won last night, in the Pac-12 race, while the Cougs join Washington and Oregon at 1-3 in conference, after the Huskies and Ducks both also took losses in cold damp northwest games.
