Oregon St. has picked up another commitment for the 2015 football recruiting class with the addition of Miki Fifita.
Fifita is a 6'5", 280 lb. tackle from Kahului, Hawaii, who will play this fall at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
Rivals.com rates Fifita a 3 star prospect; Scout.com so far has not rated him.
Here's his mid-season highlight video from last fall when he was playing for Baldwin High in Kahului:
Fifita will enroll this coming winter term, and participate in spring drills, getting a jump start on things.
"Oregon State is a beautiful place, and I just fell in love with it," said Fifita when he committed to the Beavers. "It's the best place I can be for the next five years. I love the environment, I love the people there, and I love the opportunities I could have there."
Fifita chose Oregon St. over an offer from Washington St.
"Oregon State is getting a big-time player but even better kid," aded Chris Weinke, the former Florida St. star who is now a coach at IMG Academy. "Miki is a big physical player that understands how to play with leverage. He has a high football IQ and toughness to go along with it."
Oregon St. now has 10 commitments for 2015.
