Oregon St. sophomore RHP Andrew Moore has been invited to try out for the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team at its training camp later this month.
Moore will arrive at camp on June 19, and compete for one of the 24 spots on the team, which will be announced June 29.
The USA Baseball Collegiate National team plays against various teams across the Eastern Seaboard as part of the Red, White and Blue Tour from June 21-30, and will then compete against Chinese Taipei in various cities in North Carolina in a series of games the week of the 4th of July.
The team also plans to play a series against their counterparts from Japan, and then travel on to the Netherlands, playing in the Honkbal - Haarlem Baseball Week, before finishing up their campaign in Cuba, playing a "friendship" series against the Cuban national team in late July.

Moore is the 8th Beaver to be invited to compete for the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team, and its the 4th year in a row Oregon St. has had someone selected.
Michael Conforto played both last year and in 2012, and Dan Child was also on the 2012 team, while Matt Boyd was on the 2011 squad.
Other OSU alums invited were Jonah Nickerson and Kevin Gunderson in 2005, Darwin Barney in 2006, and Kevin Rhoderick in 2008.
