Jeff Hendrix went 3 for 5 and scored the first 2 runs in Oregon St.'s 3-1 win over Oregon last night. Another strong performance at the plate could helo the Beavers to a series win against the Ducks.

Game NotesOregon Series Notes

Oregon and Oregon St. continue their Civil War series tonight, with the Beavers in pursuit of not only a 5th series win in the 6th year since the Ducks reinstated their baseball program, but also possibly the Pac-12 lead, after pulling within 1/2 game of conference leading Washington last night, with a 3-1 win that saw Ben Wetzler become the winningest pitcher in Beaver history, and Washington St.'s 6-4 upset of the Huskies in Seattle.

The Cougars and Huskies square off at Husky Ballpark in the second game of their Apple Cup series at the same time as the Civil War is resuming.

It shapes up as another pitching duel at Goss tonight.

The Beavers will go with sophomore RHP Andrew Moore (3-3, 2.96 ERA).

The Ducks will counter with senior RHP Jeff Gold (9-0, 2.54 ERA). Gold is one of only four regular starters in the country that is still unbeaten.
