Oregon St. DE Scott Crichton has joined WR Brandin Cooks in deciding to forego his senior season and enter the NFL draft.

"Without the coaches I would not be prepared, or have the confidence, to open the next chapter of my life's journey," Crichton said this evening.

"They allowed me to be me without restriction, and made me grow as a player and as a person. Coach (Mike) Riley gave me the opportunity to be molded into a driven and determined student athlete at OSU. For his and the staff's support, I will be eternally in debt for the realization of my life-long dream."

Crichton becomes only the 5th Oregon St. player to leave for the draft early, along with Cooks, and RBs Steven Jackson and Jacquizz Rodgers, and DB Brandon Browner.

Crichton was a second team All-Pac-12 selection this year.
