Oregon St. takes on USC today for some Saturday baseball. The Beavers will be looking to win the series, and also to repeat Friday night's strikeout-free performance, which resulted in a solid 10-4 win. Tickets sold out Friday evening, so the largest crowd of the season should be on hand to greet the Trojans.

Oregon St. continues to pursue Oregon for the Pac-12 lead in the win column, as the Ducks downed Stanford 2-1 last night. The Beavers continue to hold onto a percentage point advantage, however, having 3 conference games in hand.

The Beavers will send freshman RHP Andrew Moore (7-1, 1.73) out to start the afternoon. Moore didn't get a decision in last Saturday's 10-3 Oregon St. loss at Washington, but turned in a strong effort, working 3 batters (and 1 out) into the 7th inning before turning over a 3-1 lead and 2 base runners to the Beaver bullpen, having scattered 7 hits, a walk, and 2 batters hit by a pitch.

The Trojans will respond with sophomore RHP Wyatt Strahan (2-2, 2.41). Strahan got the win in USC's 7-4 victory in Utah last Saturday in his last outing, when he gave up 6 hits and 4 walks, but only 1 run, in 8 innings.

In what has been a rarity this season, Oregon St. head coach Pat Casey has elected not to fiddle with the lineup today, going again with what went well yesterday:

Tyle Smith-SS

Andy Peterson-2B

Michael Conforto-LF

Dylan Davis-RF

Ryan Barnes-DH

Danny Hayes-1B

Jake Rodriguez-C

Kavin Keyes-3B

Max Gordon-CF
