Oregon St. completed their last practice of the spring season today, with only the spring game scrimmage tomorrow evening left on the agenda.

Several players injured of late were held out of action today, and will also miss tomorrow night's scrimmage. In addition to running back Storm Woods, LB D.J. Alexander and PK Trevor Romaine both also have concussions. How Romaine sustained such an injury (it was off-field) I have no idea, but that's what head coach Mike Riley reported.

Additionally, reserve safety Kendall Hill is still out with a right knee injury, and TE Tyler Perry's bruised hip will hold him out as well. Hill will have an MRI, and may require surgery. Hill redshirted last year, after injuring his left knee.

These are in addition to JC transfer DT Siale Hautau, who broke his hand earlier in spring drills and DT David Keller, who has a foot injury.

Also, defensive end Scott Crichton (shoulder), wide receiver Richard Mullaney (shoulder) and safety Tyrequek Zimmerman (toe) have sat out drills all spring, rehabbing.

As things wind down, Obum Gwacham is looking better, making increasingly more impressive catches, and Micah Hatfield is also seeing more reps with the starters, and playing well when he does.

Cody Vaz predicted about 15 plays for both him and Sean Mannion Friday night, indicating plans are for about 3 good series for each of them, before "letting the young guys get in there".

Buildingthedam will be on hand for the scrimmage, and have analysis afterwards.
