Oregon St. has upgraded in yet another area. The old equipment truck that was an over-sized delivery truck, used to transport all of the equipment needed to conduct operations when away from Reser Stadium, has been retired, and when the Beavers hit the road this season, the gear will go in style.
May Trucking tricked out a Peterbilt that will also serve as one sharp rolling billboard for the program, and certainly get your attention if you see it filling up your rear view mirror.
The truck also is a tribute to the 4 horses that have carried a large part of the load in bringing the program out of the "Dark Ages", and into national prominence during their illustrious careers.
Ken Simonton, Steven Jackson, Yvenson Bernard, and Jacquizz Rodgers have given Beaver Nation plenty to be proud of, and when the Beaver's big rig rolls into Seattle and Palo Alto, the vaunted opposition will be reminded of some of those days.
