The Pac-12 may be in a state of disrepair around them, but Oregon State is still setting their sights on a strong campaign, as just like in the USA Today Coaches Poll, the Beavers were ranked as the #18 team in the country heading into the 2023 season.
The Beavers are coming off a strong 10-3 outing, which included a three-game win streak to begin the 2022 campaign and winning seven of their last eight contests overall, including knocking off then-top ten ranked rival Oregon and blowing out Florida in the Las Vegas Bowl.
Along with Oregon State, the other four Pac-12 teams mentioned in the poll were #6 USC, #10 Washington, #14 Utah and #15 Oregon. UCLA was the only team to receive votes from the league with 66 total points accrued, leaving Arizona, Arizona State, California, Colorado, Stanford and Washington State as programs who went unrecognized by the poll.
The Beavers open the season on the road on September 3rd at San Jose State. The game is set for a 12:30 PM PT kick-off and will be broadcast on CBS.
