Oregon State will be in unfamiliar territory this weekend as they will be double-digit favorites against Hawaii. The 11-point spread according to VegasInsider.com is the largest the Beavers will be favored versus an FBS team in 8 years (h/t Nick Daschel).
At minus-11 against Hawaii, Oregon State is the largest favorite against a FBS opponent in eight years. Last time Beavers were favored by this much was Colorado (-11 1/2) in 2013.

Oregon State is looking to avenge the tough 31-28 loss to the Rainbow Warriors in 2019. That was the game in Hawaii where Jojo Ward torched the Beavers for 4 TDs and the Beavers couldn’t generate enough offense to answer despite Jermar Jefferson rushing for over 180 yards. Also I believe the only way to watch that game was via Facebook, 2019 what a time that was...
Anyways, this season Hawaii opened up week zero with a 44-10 loss to UCLA. They bounced back this past weekend with a 49-35 win over Portland State. Chevan Cordeiro is a dangerous quarterback for the Rainbow Warriors and this is absolutely a game the Beavers could lose if they don’t have a solid gameplan in place.
Saturday’s home game against Hawaii will once again be aired on FS1. The Beavers pulled the late-shift though as kickoff is scheduled for 8 PM PDT.
