As the NFL Draft ended and the UDFA signing period began, a few Beavers waited to see where they’d get their shot in the league. Cornerback Isaiah Dunn was one of those players, and he just received a call from the New York Jets.
New York Jets strike big deal with priority free agent Isaiah Dunn (Oregon State), the biggest contract ever for an undrafted rookie corner, per a league source: $185,000 total guaranteed, including $160,000 of his base salary is guaranteed, plus a $25,000 signing bonus

As noted in the tweet, this is the biggest deal ever offered to an undrafted rookie corner. The Jets seem to value Dunn pretty highly, and he’s got an excellent shot to make the roster on a Jets team that needs help pretty much everywhere. He’ll be joined on the Jets by another Beaver UFDA, linebacker Hamilcar Rashed Jr. also just signed a contract with New York.

That’s 4 Beavers headed to the pros after the draft. In addition to Dunn and Rashed, Nahshon Wright was drafted early by the Cowboys and Jermar Jefferson was a seventh round pick by the Lions.
