On Selection Monday the women’s NCAA bracket was released. Oregon State (11-7) earned an 8-seed and will face Florida State (10-8) at 4:30 PM on Sunday. The Beavers had a rough start to the year due to a bunch of unfortunate circumstances, but are getting hot at just the right time. FSU last knocked Oregon State out of the tournament back in 2017.
Oregon State is looking dangerous knocking off Oregon twice in the last couple of weeks and are capable of beating anyone if they are locked in. The Beavers went from being well outside the postseason picture to being solidly assured of a spot in the tournament and the 8-seed was higher than many projected them to land. If Oregon State is able to beat Florida State they will likely face South Carolina (22-4). Go Beavs!
