After leading by as many as 19 points at one point, a second half run by Oregon temporarily threatened Oregon State’s shot at an upset of the Ducks.

However, the Beavers held on in impressive fashion and #5 seed Oregon State knocked off #1 seed Oregon, 75-64, to secure a trip to the Pac-12 Tournament final and keep their chance at making the NCAA Tournament alive.

Oregon State played a passionate, team-first game in which they assisted on 16 of their 25 made field goals. Ethan Thompson (16 points, 6 rebounds) was one of five Beaver players to reach double-figures in scoring, which also included Rodrigue Andela (13 points, 9 rebounds), Warith Alatishe (12 points, 12 rebounds), Zach Reichle (12 points, 7-8 FT) and Jarod Lucas (11 points, 6 rebounds).

The Beavers will now play the winner of the game between #2 seed USC and the #3 seed Colorado, which will take place later tonight at 8:30 PM PT. The tip-off time for the final is set for 7:30 PM PT on Saturday night.
