Led by a career night from forward Warith Alatishe, who poured in 22 points and 10 rebounds on an 11-14 shooting performance, #5 seed Oregon State knocked off #4 seed UCLA to advance to the Pac-12 semifinals on Thursday night, 83-79.
Alatishe was one of four Beavers who hit the double-figure plateau in scoring, accompanied by star Ethan Thompson (18 points), sharp-shooter Jarod Lucas (17 points) and guard Zach Reichle (11 points).
Oregon State also received a fantastic 8 points, which all came from the free-throw line, and 10 rebounds off the bench from Rodrigue Andela.
With the win, Oregon State now moves on to play #1 seed Oregon, who defeated #8 seed Arizona State earlier on Thursday. The tip-off time for that game is slated for 5:30 PM PT on Friday night (March 12th).
