The excitement from an Elite Eight campaign may seem far off in the distance, especially as the 2021-2022 season lays waiting around the corner, but that didn’t stop Oregon State head coach Wayne Tinkle from opening up commitments for the class of 2022 this week.
Tyler Bilodeau, a 6’ 8”, three-star rated forward from Kennewick High School in Washington, announced his commitment to the Beavers via a post on his Twitter account. Bilodeau is the first player to pledge to the program in the 2022 class and announced his intention to continue his college career in Corvallis three weeks after receiving an offer from the program.

As mentioned in our previous article about Bilodeau, “the native of Kennewick, Washington has the bloodlines to excite any college coach with his mother being former WNBA player Cass Bauer-Bilodeau and his father being former NHL first-round pick Brent Bilodeau.” The current program targets for the class include Lamar Washington, Alpha Chibambe, D.J. Jefferson, Justyn Fernandez, Duke Brennan, Dok Muordar and Cruz Davis.
