UCLA has been very good this season. Arguably the top team in the Pac-12 with an 8-1 record and Mick Cronin might just win Pac-12 coach of the year. Everyone came back for the Bruins this season. Five guys average double figures and a sixth averages 9.9 PPG. The balanced scoring, talented players and continuity puts the Bruins ahead of pretty much everyone in the conference. Mick Cronin has done quite the job in beginning to stabilize the Bruins program, after years of an irrational fan base seemingly being discontent with any level of success. UCLA is back atop the Pac-12 and all is well in Westwood.
While UCLA suffered a set back last game against Stanford they will look to return to their winning ways. The Beavers will need to contain penetration from Tyger Campbell and future NBA’er Chris Smith. They will also need to limit sharp shooter Johnny Juzang and keep Jalen Hill off the boards from cleaning up any misses. The Beavers will be heavy underdogs on Saturday, but they have been known to thrive in that role.
