Ben Gregg, the second-best ranked recruit from the state of Oregon in the 2021 class, chose to pursue his college career at Gonzaga over the likes of Arizona, California, Oregon and Oregon State on Wednesday.

The Beavers were likely long-shots for the 6’ 7” forward from Clackamas High School, who is also a consensus four-star recruit, but they did finish in the talent’s final batch of schools, leaving some to believe that the role of staying in the state of Oregon may play a large factor in his decision.

However, at the end of the day, the widely considered Top-100 prospect, who is ranked #29 in the country by ESPN and #75 in the land by 247 Sports, went for the Bulldogs, who offered him late into the recruiting process.

With Gregg having made his decision, the Beavers recruiting focus for the 2021 class now remains with guard John Christofilis from Seattle, Washington’s O’Dea High School and Australian forward David Okwera.

Oregon State’s only commit for the 2021 class is Trinity Valley Community College (Texas) guard Dashawn Davis, who chose the Beavers over Seton Hall back in late July.
