Oregon State Football: CBS Sports Ranks Oregon State #63 Nationally, 7th Best in Pac-12

Too high? Too low? Only time will tell.

CBS Sports updated their “130” list to kick-off the month of June, with Oregon State coming in at #63 overall and the seventh-highest ranked team in the Pac-12.

The Beavers were sandwiched between the likes of Georgia Southern (#60), TCU (#61), and Illinois (#62) in front of them and Washington State (#64), Boston College (#65) and Miami-OH (#66) behind.

In terms of in-conference foes, Oregon State trails Oregon (#5), Utah (#15), Washington (#27), USC (#30), Arizona State (#41) and California (#47). The rest of the league is all slotted within the Top 100 behind them, including the aforementioned Cougars (#64), Colorado (#75), UCLA (#90), Stanford (#96) and Arizona (#99).

This would project the Beavers as the fourth-best squad in the Pac-12 North Division, with the Ducks, Huskies and Golden Bears leading the way.

Oregon State begins the 2020 season on Thursday, September 3rd in a road match-up at Oklahoma State.
