After a long journey through the recruiting process, I’m excited to announce that I am committing to Oregon State University. I want to thank my family and coaches for putting me in the position I am today and to the Oregon state staff for the amazing opportunity #gobeavs pic.twitter.com/yuP8l1gVTI

Andrew Nemec of OregonLive.com compared Easton Mascarenas to every highly ranked high school football prospect that has attended Oregon State and determined that Easton is the highest ranked defensive recruit to commit to Corvallis (#5 overall).
The talented linebacker had previously taken an unofficial visit back in November 2019. He recently took a virtual visit and then FaceTimed the coaches to tell them of his verbal commitment. The hard-hitting linebacker appreciated the fact that Oregon State was the first school to offer him a scholarship and is ready to bolster the Beavs 2021 recruiting class as the first big time prospect to commit.
