National Signing Day is here! I’m sure it surprised most fans and probably for good reason, because 90% of the 2020 recruits have already signed. That includes Oregon State that has already signed a majority of their recruits. That doesn’t mean they are sitting on their hands today though, the team has announced three new additions to the team.
#1) Tyler Morano - OT

Welcome to the family, @tymorano99! #BTD20 pic.twitter.com/kUhmdqr2FB
Tyler Morano is a three star offensive tackle from Livermore, California. The offensive lineman is on scholarship and will likely redshirt as a freshman.
#2) Malik Kelley - TE

Malik Kelly is from Roosevelt High School in Portland, Oregon. In addition to being a tough blocking tight end he is also a stud basketball player. The preferred walk-on is a welcome addition to Oregon State and has a good chance to make a new more himself during his time in Corvallis.
#3) Porter Phillips - RB/DB
Mid-Willamette Offensive AND Defensive Player of the Year: @porter3454 #Homegrown #BTD20 pic.twitter.com/2Z5TebmIuC

Last, but not least is the Mid-Willamette offensive and defensive player of the year from West Albany. Porter Phillips was a stud running back and defensive back at the high school level. He also has arguably the best hair game of any recruit who signed today.
For more on recruiting take a look at the recruits who signed during the early signing period here. The Beavers obviously had a pretty quiet signing day, but that’s because the early signing period has essentially replaced ‘The (big) National Signing Day’ event. The Beavers are pretty capped out with scholarships now especially with eight players getting an extra year of eligibility from the NCAA, but don’t be surprised if there is some movement. Oregon State likes to be active in the transfer portal and they landed an extremely talented wide receiver in Tre’Shaun Harrison that way. Go Beavs!
