From your friends here at Building The Dam, we want to wish everyone out there in Beaver Nation a very Merry Christmas and the happiest of New Year’s celebrations!

As we head into 2021, we will continue to try to improve on becoming one of of your favorite places on the internet to stop by and take in all things Oregon State athletics, good bad or indifferent. We always are trying to get better and expand on our staff of contributors in new and different ways, meaning that as the New Year rolls around and maybe you make yourself some resolutions, try and pencil one in to explore writing about the Beavers a bit. You never know how much you may actually enjoy it.

Also, please help us help you. My email address is and it’s not hard to find in many other past posts. I’m not here to write about what I feel like on any given day. We all here want to write about what you, the readers of our site, want to take in and what you, our beloved audience, want to see each and every day. Our goal is to please all of you out there and we’ll do the best we can in this endeavor going forward.

So no, we’re not always perfect or on point. Yes, we do get emotional (especially on social media) and sure, sometimes we don’t always see things eye to eye, but we’re all in this together as fans of the Beavers and members of Beaver Nation and we all want your holiday season to be the happiest of times it can be!

So again, from all of us here at Building The Dam, have a very safe, healthy and joyous holiday season and we thank you all for always supporting us along the way!
