Despite Loss, WBB up to No. 7 in AP Poll

Civil War week is here!

COLLEGE BASKETBALL: JAN 10 Women’s Oregon State at Arizona

The Beavers are in the midst of the toughest three-game stretch in program history. They dropped the first game to Stanford (61-58) last night and are looking at back-to-back games against their rival Oregon. Despite the tough home loss Oregon State jumped a spot in the AP Poll moving to #7.

The only thing that’s been consistent in women’s basketball is the chaos across the country. The countries final unbeaten lost this week (UCLA) and a bunch of teams have one or two losses on the season.

Oregon jumped up to No. 4 and the Civil War should be booming this week. It all starts Friday in Eugene with a rematch in Gill on Sunday. Go Beavers!
