The Oregon State Athletic Department released the Beavers’ 2020 football schedule today. Among the 12 games, the Beavers will be home at Reser for 7 of them, though they’ll be spending most of October on the road. Here’s what we’re looking at.
- September 3rd: @ Oklahoma State
- September 12th: vs Colorado State
- September 19th: vs. Portland State
- September 29th: vs. Washington State
- October 3rd: @ Arizona State
- October 10th: @ Washington
- October 17th: Bye
- October 24th: vs California
- October 30th: @ Stanford
- November 7th: vs UCLA
- November 14th: @ Utah
- November 21st: vs. Arizona
- November 28th: vs. Oregon
Some things definitely stand out. The Beavers will travel to Stillwater for a rematch with Oklahoma State to open the season on Thursday, September 3rd. Last year the Cowboys came to Corvallis and beat the Beavers 52-36.
The Beavers’ first home game will feature the return of the Portland State Vikings. The Beavers last played PSU in 2017, when they won 35-32. OSU ends their non conference slate with another rematch from 2017, with Colorado State coming to Corvallis. The last time the two teams played, at Colorado State, the Beavers lost 58-27.
Next season’s conference schedule is the same as last year’s, just with the sites switched. Once again the Beavers will miss playing USC and Colorado, though both will be back in 2021. The Beavers will on the road against Arizona State, Washington, Stanford and Utah, but will be at home for Washington State, Arizona, Cal, UCLA, and this year’s Civil War against Oregon.
So what do you think Beaver fans? How many wins do you see on the schedule? 11? 12? 13?!? Let us know in the comments.
