- While the football team grabs most of the headlines, the best team on campus in Corvallis right now might just be the women’s soccer squad, who is off to a red-hot 4-0 start under first-year head coach Matt Kagan. The Beavers knocked off New Mexico 1-0 on Thursday, to give the team the best start in program history since 2012. In four games, Oregon State has outscored their opponents by a 9-1 margin, with their next contest coming Sunday at home against UC-Davis.
