Leader board after week 1:
Joe- 12 Points
Ross and Travis- 11 points
Albert, Coach, John and Hayden -10 points
Leo, Marcus, and Justin- 9 points
This weeks picks
Arizona State v Sacramento State
You’d have to be pretty unfortunate to lose a game to Sacramento State at home, something like that could devastate the fanbase and potentially start a massive downhill slide that your program takes multiple coaching changes and years to recover from. None of us thinks that happens to ASU tonight.
Utah vs Northern Illinois
Utes take this one unanimously
Colorado v Nebraska
Can Scott Frost get things going in year 2? Or will Mel Tucker and the Buffs repeat last years triumph... Sorry Ralphie, but only Leo believes in you
UCLA V San Diego State
Can the Aztecs rub some more salt in Bruins fans wounds, or will Chip Kelly channel his inner Ron Burgundy and tell San Diego to go.... welll you know the rest. Albert, Joe and Justin are riding with the Aztecs while the rest of us thinks UCLA gets a short reprieve from their eternal sadness.
Northern Colorado v Washington State
I mean this one should be pretty open and shut, WSU wins.
Oregon v Nevada
The Ducks should win this one, but maybe Mario Cristobal will make a series of dumb decisions that cost them the game. Unlikely as we all begrudgingly pick the Ducks.
Cal v Washington
The Pac 12 slate gets started with the Bears and the Huskies. Cal will need it’s defense to lead the way to an upset, but none of us are willing to pick them. Huskies take it.
Stanford v USC
A pair of backup QB’s will be slinging the rock in this one. Honestly I was surprised no one went out on a limb and picked USC, but it appears we are all in on the Tree.
Arizona v NAU
Only 8% of Arizona fans have confidence in the direction of the program according to SBNations most recent FanPulse results. A loss here would likely get that 8% off the bandwagon, but we don’t see that happening. Arizona wins
Oregon State v Hawaii
The nightcap of a long day features our Beavs taking on Hawaii. Oregon State’s defense will have to step up to keep the Warriors from their second victory over a Pac 12 squad. Travis, Albert, Marcus and Hayden believe the Beavs get it done, while everyone else thinks its another long night ahead for the orange and black.
