A perfect week 4 for best college football bets! How about that UCLA/WSU game?! Last weeks 5-0 total, brings the picks for the season to an impressive (13-6-1). The Beavers return to action this weekend taking on a struggling Stanford team at home. Could they come out with a victory?

#1 - Memphis (-10.5) vs. Navy
Memphis is playing at home and they are a good football team. They’re 3-0 on the year with a win over Ole Miss. Navy has admittedly been better than expected this year, but I’m expecting a big Memphis win on Thursday night. (Get your bet in early for this game).
#2 - Washington (-10) vs. USC
I’m taking another big home favorite here in week 5. Washington looked impressive against BYU and return home to take on an up and down USC team. Literally this USC team is like a roller coaster. Tough week 1 losing JT Daniels, huge win over Stanford, bad loss against BYU and then a rebound win against Utah. I’m betting that this week is a down week for the Trojans; Kedon Slovis is in the concussion protocol and QB depth is a huge question mark. Take Washington at home here.
#3 - Troy (-7) vs. Arkansas State
Troy is one of those teams that I think is vastly underrated. I picked them to outperform their preseason win total to start the season and I expect them to continue their winning ways. Troy wins by double-digits here.
#4 - Stanford (-3.5) vs. Oregon State
I’m really excited about this weekends game against Stanford. They’ve looked pretty pedestrian this season and the Beavers have had an extra week to prepare for this game and they are playing at home. Despite all the positives for Oregon State I won’t trust they can come out and win against a solid Pac-12 North school until I see it with my own eyes. KJ Costello and Colby Parkinson (6-foot-7) gashed Oregon State a season ago. I don’t think the Beavers defense will be able to stop it this year either.
#5 - Colorado State (+23.5) vs. Utah State
My only underdog pick of the week and it’s a huge underdog. I know Colorado State is bad and they are dealing with a bunch of critical injuries. They are on the road and the Aggies are a solid football team, but over 20 points for a conference opponent this early in the season? The line seems too high and I think CSU covers the spread.
I checked these odds on FanDuel this morning. I wish I grabbed the Stanford/Oregon State line at -3 when it opened; but I would expect it to move to -4 or more before kickoff on Saturday. I’m rooting hard for the Beavs and think this game will be close; but I’m not sold on the Beavers defense that is battling injuries.
