5 College Football Games You Should Watch During Oregon State’s Bye Week

While the Beavs are away, the rest of the nation will play.

NCAA Football: Georgia at Vanderbilt Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

The Oregon State Beavers get a much needed bye week this week. Luckily for all of us, there’s still plenty of great football to catch throughout the weekend.

Here are five games that we are keeping our televisions and laptops tuned to this week.

USC Trojans vs #10 Utah Utes - 6 PM PT (Friday) - Fox Sports 1

Despite being a top ten club, the Utes are favored by just three in their road test against USC. While the Trojans are coming off a road loss to BYU, their offense is not to be underestimated. If Utah does win, it will be the first time they have beaten the Trojans in Los Angeles since 1916.

#13 Wisconsin Badgers vs #11 Michigan Wolverines - 9 AM PT - FOX

The Badgers are favored by three in what could be the most entertaining game of the weekend. Michigan has been a mixed bag this season despite extremely high expectations and the Badgers want revenge for the last time these two met. Definitely a can’t miss and could be a make or break for the Wolverines.

#1 North Dakota State Bison vs #4 UC Davis Aggies - 12:30 PM PT ESPN+

A battle of FCS heavyweights! It is, in fact, the first top-5 matchup of the 2019 FCS football season. Through the first three games, NDSU have outscored their opponents 142-39. The Aggies could provide the Bison with their toughest test of the season prior to the playoffs. Sparks will fly in Fargo.

Stanford Cardinal vs #16 Oregon Ducks - 4 PM PT - ESPN

OSU’s next opponent is the Cardinal, who don’t look too hot at the moment. Could they be the team that OSU get’s their second win of the season against? If you can stomach watching the Ducks for a bit, do a little scouting report for yourself on next week’s matchip.

#3 Georgia Bulldogs vs #7 Notre Dame Fighting Irish- 5 PM PT - CBS

This could be a great game if Notre Dame overcomes their bad habit of slow starts to games. The Bulldogs are favored by two touchdowns and that sounds about right...but stranger things have happened. As your evening winds down, definitely try to catch these two teams with legit playoff hopes.
