In conjunction with the release of the media times and television coverage for the upcoming Pac-12 basketball season, the Oregon State men’s basketball program has also published their full 2019-2020 schedule.

The schedule is highlighted by a pair of contests against Big 12 foes, that include a November 9th meeting with Iowa State in Corvallis and a November 12th showdown against Oklahoma in the Phil Knight Invitational at Moda Center in Portland. The Beavers will also partake in the Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic at Orleans Arena (San Jose State) and The Battleground 2K19 at the Toyota Center (UT-San Antonio), in addition to non-league road games at Wyoming and Texas A&M. The Beavers season officially starts on November 5th against Cal State-Northridge, but Oregon State will play two exhibition games before then.

The Beavers men’s program is coming off an 18-13 campaign that looked bound to end in the post-season, before Oregon State dropped five of it’s last seven games, including a surprising blowout defeat at the hands of Colorado in the Pac-12 Tournament. It now puts the 2019-2020 season as a crucial stretch in the tenure of head coach Wayne Tinkle, who is entering his sixth year at the helm with a 75–83 overall record.

In 2019-2020, the team is expected to be anchored once again by potential Pac-12 Player of the Year Tres Tinkle (20.8 PPG), flanked by rising junior guard Ethan Thompson (13.7 PPG) and interior shot-blocker Kylor Kelley (7.7 PPG). However, the Beavers will need to replace key contributors from last year’s rotation, including program stalwarts Stephen Thompson Jr. (16.1 PPG) and Gligorije Rakocevic (5.2 PPG).
